When you choose to have your Xtracycle shipped via Direct Home Delivery, you'll receive your bike fully assembled & ready to ride. Unbox your Big Box of Happiness, hop on & fall in love with your new ride!
Just the way we designed it. No assembly. No headaches. No worries.
Our trained staff mechanics here in California will assemble your bike, exactly as you ordered it, including all add-on components, within 14 days of receiving your order.
Your bike is run through our rigorous 71-point assembly & safety checklist to ensure it is set up just the way you want it, and truly ready to ride.
Your bike is carefully boxed up and handed off to one of our premium freight partners, to be delivered right to your home. You can expect shipping to take 7 to 14 days, depending on where you live.
Still have some questions? We’re sure you do. Here are the ones we’ve heard most often:
How does a 15-day, 50-mile test ride sound? Instead of test riding, you can test buy. That’s why we offer a money-back guarantee. When your bike is delivered in our Big Box of Happiness via Direct Home Delivery you can: ride it, put it through the paces, load your kids on back, crank the electric assist up to 11 (or at least max), run all your errands, swing back to school, head out camping, see if it makes your life better. If not, we make returning it a cinch.
Within 15 days of receiving your bike and within riding 50 miles, you may return it to us if you decide the Xtracycle you purchased just doesn’t quite fit your needs. We will arrange for a freight pick-up of your bike and you will follow our instructions to prepare your bike for the return trip. You’ll be responsible for the cost of assembly and shipping both ways.
On our end, it costs around $1000 for the assembly, safety checks, boxing, and shipping. But you only pay $400. Why the difference in cost? We’re so committed to you getting the bike you need exactly the way you need it that it’s worth it to us.
Not a problem for us! We can definitely ship your bike to Canada but there are a few details you should be aware of. Read about shipping to Canada here or reach out to us at support@xtracycle.com for more details.
