Xtracycle is proud to participate in Priority Gives, our shared giveback program designed to help local groups raise funds through the bikes their communities already love. After completing a purchase, supporters can enter your organization’s Cause Code in the post-purchase survey on their order confirmation page. A portion of every qualifying Xtracycle purchase will then go directly back to your group.

What types of groups qualify?
Priority Gives is designed to support organizations that are deeply rooted in their communities and making a meaningful, ongoing impact. We are currently accepting applications from groups that:Are active, multi-year nonprofits or established community organizationsHave consistent programming or initiatives that support their community year after yearAre focused on creating safer streets, healthier living, youth empowerment, education, or community connectionAre driven by local involvement, volunteer energy, and long-term commitment—rather than one-off events or temporary campaignsThis program is meant to help groups that are already “doing the work” and could use a belt-powered boost to keep that momentum going.Examples of organizations that qualify:PTAs and school-based groups (e.g., annual walk/bike programs, community events, ongoing fundraising efforts)Bike buses and youth mobility organizations(multi-year groups focused on helping kids get to school safely)Local cycling advocacy groups (organizations promoting safer streets, slow streets, bike education programs, etc.)Community nonprofits with sustained missions (health and wellness orgs, neighborhood associations, after-school programs, environmental groups)Long-standing bike clubs or community ride groups (groups that regularly host rides, skills clinics, or community events)At this time, organizations that do not qualify include:One-off or first-time fundraising eventsTemporary initiatives created for a single occasionShort-term campaigns without ongoing programmingPersonal fundraisers or individual-led causesGroups without multi-year activity or leadership structurePriority Gives is built to amplify organizations who are already showing up, year after year, to make their community stronger. If that sounds like your group, we’d love for you to apply.
Who can apply for the Priority Gives Program?
Priority Gives is open to active, multi-year community organizations that are making a consistent, positive impact in their local areas. Applications must be submitted directly by an organization leader or authorized member—supporters or individuals cannot apply on behalf of a group. While someone from leadership does need to apply, please feel free to share the program with your organization’s leaders and encourage them to submit an application!
How does Priority/Xtracycle validate purchases, and who is allowed to use a cause code?
Each approved organization receives a unique Priority Gives Cause Code. After a customer completes their purchase, they can enter that code in the post-purchase survey displayed on the order confirmation page. Priority/Xtracycle then attributes a % of the qualifying purchase to that organization, distributed quarterly. Cause Codes are intended for use by members, families, and supporters of the approved organization. Misuse of a code — including sharing it broadly outside the group or promoting it for general public use — may lead to removal from the program. Priority/Xtracycle reserves the right to deny any submission using a Cause Code and to remove any organization from the program at any time.
When will I hear back regarding my application?
Approved and denied applicants will receive a response from Priority Bicycles within two weeks of submitting their application through the Priority Gives form.
Where is the Priority Gives program available?
The Priority Gives program is currently available only within the United States. At this time, organizations must be U.S.-based to participate, and purchases supporting Priority Gives must be made within the U.S.As the program grows, we hope to explore expanding availability in the future.
