Short or tall, getting on and off a Swoop loaded up with kids & cargo is a breeze with its industry-leading low step-thru geometry.
Power through city streets and up rustic trails without breaking a sweat. Every ride becomes an exciting new adventure.
From babies & kids to loved ones and furry friends, the Swoop easily takes 3 friends (and all their gear) along for the ride.
Add to cart and use the Bike Builder to design your ride just the way you want it. Select the Everyday Rider bundle and get everything you need to be ready for anything.
From riding to dinner at Grandma’s house to cruising through Zion National Park, the Xtracycle Swoop has been a game changer in our house. As a bike loving family with two and four-year-old boys, we love getting out as a family, but our little guys’ legs can only take them so far, so we often resort to the car.
With the Swoop, new biking horizons quickly emerged as we were no longer limited by little legs. With both kids comfortably and happily in tow, 5 to 10 mile trips became easy and enjoyable for everyone.
Question: how might one aspiring SuperParent ditch the car keys, carbon emissions, and congested highways—and still get the kids to soccer practice early? Designed for ease of cargo loading and handling, the Swoop is your instrument for going all-in on the cargo bike lifestyle. Parked in the garage where your second car used to be, the Swoop is an obvious pick for quick coffee runs, Burning Man, school drop-offs, and cross-town errands alike. Is that your other car looking nervous?
For the vertically-challenged or not-so-flexible among us (or those that just don’t feel like kicking their kids in the face), this electric cargo bike’s low step-thru frame makes climbing aboard a breeze. With its highly-engineered steering stability, you’re still in control—even under a heavy load. And with a 20-inch rear wheel, petite and novice riders can handle the Swoop with mastery—undetectable noob-status for the win.
