      Position Title: Xtracycle Flagship Store Manager
      Job location: 237 Shoreline Highway, Mill Valley, CA.

      Xtracycle’s flagship store (part test ride and service center, part community engagement platform, part product research space) was opened in Mill Valley in 2021.

      Join our team to make the shop successful as a space for people to test-ride, rent, and service Xtracycle and Priority Bicycles with an eye towards building the store as a replicable model that can be established in other urban centers.

      Responsibilities

        Lead In-Person Sales
        • Lead and support the in-shop sales staff to ensure a consistent, friendly, and effective presence at the shop.
        • Assign the servicing of bikes to members of the service team according to availability and ability, and oversee the process to ensure completion in a timely manner.
        • Oversee the completion of orders to clients both in store and via shipping.
        • Work with the Sales and Marketing team and the in-store sales staff to develop and refine sales goals, a sales strategy and implementation plan, and a consistent sales process.
        • Hire, train, manage, schedule, and offboard in-shop staff members as needed.
        • Assess performance of in-shop sales and service team members to ensure that the targets for quality and efficiency are met.
        Oversee the functioning of the shop
        • Establish and maintain regular shop open hours
        • Manage inventory and take regular stock counts
        • Oversee the completion of orders to clients both in store and via shipping
        • Keep the physical space clean and tidy
        • Manage service scheduling, rentals, and staffing
        • Oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries
        Community outreach and marketing
        • Drive traffic to the shop and support Xtracycle’s marketing efforts to bring in qualified leads.
        • Develop and implement a strategy to foster community around the shop.
        • Manage the Yelp and Google reviews pages for the flagship store and respond to all feedback in a brand-aligned manner.
        • Post to social media or other platforms to generate excitement and foot traffic for the shop.
        • Organize events hosted at the shop or in the nearby community.

      Compensation

      Compensation depends on experience and ranges from $45,000-$65,000/year.
